I would just like to say a great big Thank you for the lovely time we had at the Moondara Lodge, it was absolutely amazing and my Mam cried when we pulled up outside. She stated that she has found a magical place for the family and dog to come on holiday! Our Boxer dog (George) loved it so much, he swam in the water and every time the door opened he would quickly run out, just so he could be outside. When we got him home he slept solid for 2 days. Everyone was sad to leave as this was a great experience for us all. We are already making plans to return. We cleaned the place before we left as that was our way to say thank you for the lovely holiday we had.
Hope we left everything how we found it.

I just thought you might be interested to know that I have submitted some photographs into a competition that were taken on our recent visit to the Moondara Log Cabin (2nd – 5th February weekend).
We got such lovely photos of the lake that weekend that I wanted to share them with others. I just thought you might like to have a look, and see the results of your hard work in all their glory.
I also wanted to thank you for a lovely weekend. We all absolutely loved the log cabin and what you have accomplished is amazing.
We are planning to return very soon!

Just a short note to tell you once again what a wonderful weekend we all had at Moondara. The house is nothing short of fantastic - it was a magical experience. Its not just the lovely building, but it is so tastefully finished off and furnished with lots of lovely little touches to make it feel homely. There was simply nothing else we could have asked for, and indeed there was everything we could have wanted and more. The house looks fabulous on the website, but even that doesn't do it justice! I think I want to live there......!
We also enjoyed the lovely walk around the lake, and all the different kinds of wildlife we saw. Who needs tv! The swans kept us entertained all Sunday afternoon. I've passed on the information about Island Lodge to two lots of people who are interested in it, but I don't know whether I should tell anyone about Moondara or we may not be able to come back because it will be fully booked!
We would have loved to have been able to stay longer, but duty calls. However, it was a lovely way to end our celebrations for Peter's 60th birthday which seems to have gone on for weeks. I couldn't think of a nicer venue, and it all went so well, if far too quickly.
I just hope the people in Island Lodge didn't hear us singing on Saturday night, although I suspect we disturbed the local wildlife. So thank you again for the tremendous work you have done to make the whole area so beautiful and well kept, and for Moondara - which I think will become a special retreat for us for many years to come (I hope!).
We have booked to travel to Italy and France this year, plus a quick visit to Cornwall to visit family there, so we will probably not be able to return until next year.

I didn't get chance to thankyou for a lovely holiday, It was brilliant! i speak for all who stayed at Moondara that it was the best holiday we have ever had.
We were all so chilled out the whole party have really stressful jobs one being my brother in law who has recently just come back from Afghanistan and found it so Beautiful and peaceful, The Cabin was so well equipt with everything we needed.
We all enjoyed it so much that we had to book for next year. 1 Week was definitely not enough so as I said on the telephone if the week before comes up please slot us in as we would love to come for 2 weeks.

Just wanted to let you know how much we all enjoyed our stay at Moondara last weekend. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves from the youngest aged 11 to the oldest aged 76. The dogs had a great time, my Mini Schnauzer learnt to swim in the lake and is still exhausted from her action packed weekend!! We hope to make a visit to Moondara a regular annual event and look forward to our next stay.

Well what can I say?!?!?! We have just returned home from our 1st and much needed break @ Island Lodge. I can promise it will NOT be our last!! I could never have imagined such a wonderful place could really exist. The lodge is everything we could have imagined and more then we could ever have dreamed. It really is heaven on earth!!
Both me my husband and Freddie our 18 month old son have enjoyed every moment! Freddie is especially missing the ducks!! I however am missing the breath taking views across the lake and the clam a peace it brings!!
I have already found myself checking availability for next year as we would like to bring the whole family and enjoy the Moondara’s delights.
